Traveling to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Rhino Trekking

The shoebill stork is arguably one of Uganda’s most sought birds. On the positive side, Ziwa is one of the few places where to go shoebill trekking. Shoebill trekking is synonymous with canoeing because the bird is basically a swamp dweller. This activity is markedly conducted during the morning hours.
While this may be true, shoebill trekking takes place only in Lugogo swamp around here. And on these conditions, you are booked for an overnight.
