Day 1 of the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking& Lake Mburo Wildlife: Transfer Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Have breakfast early to set off from Kampala well in time. During transfer to Bwindi, glance at distinctive sights along the way including banana plantations, herds of long horned cattle and rolling hills. Stop in Mbarara town for a lunch break before continuing to the scenic Kigezi highlands and later arrive at Bwindi impenetrable National Park. Bwindi impenetrable National Park has a rich ecosystem is home to various living organisms to be viewed the next day. Enjoy a toothsome Dinner and peaceful Overnight at choice Lodge.
Day 2 of the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking& Lake Mburo Wildlife: Gorilla Trekking & Optional Community Tour
The day starts with a refreshing breakfast, grab a packed lunch and other recommended Trekking materials such as; jungle boot shoes, cameras, sun glasses, drinking water, rain jackets for any rain occurrences, a pair of long trousers and capes.
Get briefing by UWA Officer before embarking on the day’s and probably the Safari High light. After briefing; step foot in the enigmatic Bwindi forest guided by the Park rangers, to lead you to the Gorillas. The fetching activity spans between 2 to 8 hours because the gentle giants keep migrating searching for food and water. Remember you need to be fit enough to track the gorillas. There is nothing as thrilling like watching the silverbacks guard their territories, the females feeding young ones, young ones playing and grumbling at each other, you will also take excellent photos with them.
Drive back to the lodge, in the evening, you can go for an optional walk in the Batwa community to observe their way of life. Have a tasty dinner and overnight.
Day 3 of the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking& Lake Mburo Wildlife: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast in the morning and then embark on a journey that will see you relocate to Lake Mburo National Park. The Park is a renowned home to several antelopes, Buchells Zebras, warthogs, hippos, buffaloes, and water loving birds.
Have lunch along the way, arrive at the park and check in at the lodge. Have an evening Game Drive.
Day 4 of the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking& Lake Mburo Wildlife: Boat ride and transfer to Kampala
Serve breakfast, and do a boat Cruise safari. Watch buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos, near the shallow waters. There is a great chance to watch the water loving birds like; the East African crowned crane, saddle billed stork and Abyssinian ground hornbills, actually; a lot more. Shortly after, return to the lodge; for relaxation at the bar area or the swimming pool. Later serve lunch and say ‘farewell’ to the park and the staff themselves, then travel back to Kampala. Stopover at the equator and take excellent photos; you could also buy some nice crafts at the nearby shops. You will reach Kampala late evening.
