Day 1 of the 10 days chimps trekking, culture & wildlife tour:

welcome time & overnight in Entebbe town

You meet and greet with our driver guide who of course takes you for hotel check – in Entebbe town. Additionally, you may go birding in the botanical gardens or go a city tour around Entebbe town. However, you may stay in sleep mode as you prepare for the engaging activities of the next day.

Day 2 of the 10 days chimps trekking, culture & wildlife tour:

Mabamba and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Check – out of the hotel in the morning after breakfast. After, drive to track the shoebill stock in Mabamba swamp. Certainly, there are several other water birds to see on this birding expedition. Furthermore, return to Entebbe in the afternoon for lunch. And from here, the scenic journey to Lake Mburo begins.

Experiential Farm Tourism

Prepare definitely to join the early milking process at Emburara farm after breakfast at 5:30am. The driver indeed takes you to the firm where you will spend the entire day participating in experiential long – horned cattle keeping. Finally, return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and rest.

Day 4 of the 10 days chimps trekking, culture & wildlife tour:

Game Drive & Evening Boat Cruise

Serve a morning breakfast and after, ram into the car for morning a game drive. Whilst this game drive, several other animals such as buffaloes, hyena, giraffe,  and topi. Furthermore, you glance at the reedbuck, eland, oribi, impala, Defassa waterbuck, bushbuck, jackals, elephants, zebra, and birds shall be seen around the trails.

You surely stand a good chance to see leopards as they retire from yesterday’s night hunt. Moreover, by luck, you may see some climbing or even sleeping in their tree dens.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

Serve your breakfast and after leave Lake Mburo for Queen Elizabeth. You will have lunch en-route at Igongo cultural center. There are so many things to see during the drive. The evening certainly catches you at the park entrance. The drive-guide helps you check in the lodge, rest as you prepare for the next day.

Day 6 of the 10 days chimps trekking, culture & wildlife tour:

Lion tracking in Ishasha & Local community visit

Drive straight to Ishasha after breakfast to surely track Africa’s only tree-climbing lions. Therefore carry your camera because this is a good safari photography site. You should also ask all questions regarding your sightings; our guides are in a position to answer them.

After, return to the lodge for lunch and brief rest. In the evening visit one of the local villages to interact with your hosts. You may carry some money to encourage a local initiative that helps local people, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Transfer to Kibale National park

The driver surely takes you through the scenic Fort portal town where your lunch is served. The driver-guide drives around the town for a city tour. And surely, you visit the Omukama’s palace on Kabarole hill. You indeed visit Sempaya hot springs and Amabeere ga nyina Mwiru and the evening finds you in Kibale National Park.

Day 8 of chimps trekking, culture & wildlife tour:

Chimp tracking & cultural entertainment

Prepare to leave the lodge early after breakfast at 5:30 and drive to park headquarters for briefing. Additionally, note that chimp trekking is such an engrossing activity but extra quotation is to be taken.

By all means, listen to your range guides advice. Additionally in the evening, you will listen to thrilling folk songs and participate in the luring cultural dances.

Birding in Bigodi swamp & Bambuti cultural trail
